Wireless test equipment manufacturer  invests in closer relationship with customers in southwest Europe

ISMANING, GERMANY, CHESSINGTON, UK and INDIANAPOLIS, USA , 19 May 2003 - Willtek Communications, major test equipment manufacturer with offices in Germany, the UK and the US, announced today a new sales and service office near Paris. Willtek Communications SARL now offers its services both directly and through representatives for France and most of Africa.

Says Cyrille Damany, CEO of Willtek Communications and a French citizen: “Willtek has a large installed base of customers in France. We owed them direct support and maintenance services which they should expect from a reliable partner. Opening this office is part of Willtek’s overall strategy to establish a local presence wherever customers have their business.”

The new office is located in Roissy close to the Charles de Gaulle airport and led by country manager Stanislas de Cordoue. From there, Willtek will offer wireless terminal testing and solutions for the deployment and optimisation of wireless second- and third-generation networks. The product portfolio is complemented by modern spectrum analysers with superb performance at moderate prices. In addition to these products, Willtek will offer calibration and repair services. Customers will also receive technical support in French.

In France, Willtek not only sells directly to its customers but also works closely with its new representatives Elexience, CHELTON Telecom and Microwave, and More And Co. The Paris office is also responsible for the sales contacts in most of Africa (except for South Africa). In the near future, Spain and Portugal will be added to the Paris office responsibilities to form the southwest sales region.
