Willtek targeting best-in-class level for its financial operations
Ismaning/Chessington/Indianapolis, July 15, 2003 - Wireless test equipment vendor Willtek Communications announced today that Eckehard Mielke has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based at headquarters in Ismaning near Munich/Germany, Mielke will oversee the activities of Willtek's national financial controllers, establish strong relationships with the financial and banking community, and provide financial analysis and direction for Willtek’s operations.
With more than twelve years of financial management experience the new CFO joins Willtek from the executive board of INeTV AG, with previous positions at Schneider Technologies AG and Roland Berger & Partner. With an education gained both in Germany and North America Mielke also brings with him an international outlook to the company. He studied at the University of California in Los Angeles and the Georg-August-University Göttingen and holds a degree in Economics.
Willtek is a recognised high-tech partner to wireless manufacturers and service providers. The company is well on its way to become a leader in its respective markets through internal growth, partnerships, and acquisitions. Speaking about the appointment CEO Cyrille Damany said that, “Mielke could be considered the ideal CFO candidate for Willtek at this stage of our business as we move into the next level of growth, expansion and delivery.
