INDIANAPOLIS, IN and SAN BRUNO, CA,— July 13, 2005 —TestMart, the leading marketplace operator and service provider for the test and measurement industry announced today an agreement with Willtek Communications, a leading provider of solutions that enable manufacturers and operators of wireless communications devices to test mobile phones, the air interface, and base stations of cellular networks. The deal provides the U.S. government and federal contractor marketplace with special pricing on select Willtek spectrum analyzers, associated components and services.
TestMart is now authorized to offer a special series of Willtek handheld spectrum analyzers, components and warranty extensions for use in the R&D, surveillance, and communication industry. Willtek equipment is used for wireless applications in areas such as repair, field measurements, support equipment, and electromagnetic compatibility. The equipment is available to those who qualify under a set of General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS).
“The addition of Willtek wireless communication products to the most comprehensive catalog of GSA qualified test equipment provides desirable new options for the U.S. government and military,” said Peter Ostrow, President and CEO of TestMart. “This agreement supplies the federal marketplace with an easier, cost-effective opportunity to search and procure Willtek products at prices that have already been competitively bid.”
“The alignment with TestMart's GSA transaction and marketing services area opens a door to new opportunities for Willtek in the government sector,” said Francis Paez, Vice President of Sales for Willtek. “TestMart will enable us to more effectively provide U.S. military and government customers access to Willtek products.”
Willtek products are under General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) managed by TestMart, who will provide content, transaction, marketing, sales support and reporting services around them.
