Today’s retailers and service organizations must be able to quickly identify faulty mobiles before they enter the repair cycle. By reducing the number of no-fault-found mobiles, retailers can avoid unnecessary costs associated with shipping, repairing and replacing phones. The 4350 Series also saves costs due to its ease of use; operators require minimal training, and most tests can be conducted with the press of a button.
POS (Point of Sale) The 435x series is ideal for this application. The 435x together with a remote PC application enables unskilled personnel to distinguish good phones from defective phones, thus when a customer returns a mobile to the point of sale location. The sales clerk may perform a quick test on the mobile to determine if the mobile is truly faulty, thus providing immediate service to the customer and eliminating the return of NFF (No Fault Found) mobiles to the service centers.
Service – Incoming Filter Test The 4350 series is ideal for Incoming Filter test. As the mobile device enters the service center, the 4350 is used to determine “work to be performed”. A functional test may be performed on the mobile device and depending on the performance of the device or test failures, the device can then be correctly routed to the next stage in the service process.
