2830 Remote Control Software
The 2830 Remote Control Software is the right option if you want to control the instrument via IP from a remote location. You can leave the instrument on a site and use the instrument from remote just as if you were sitting in front of it. The software includes a virtual front panel with all the keys and displays.
2831 ETSI DMR Software Option
One of the most exciting innovations in the PMR business is DMR. It is as easy to handle as conventional two-way radio, but much more effective in spectrum usage and signal to noise ratio. The 2831 ETSI DMR Software Option enables tests on ETSI DMR-enabled radios, including Motorola’s MOTOTRBO. The option supports BER tests, constellation diagram, FSK and magnitude error and receive audio quality.
2860 3GHz Frequency Extension
The frequency extension makes the 2801 Multilock a real wideband instrument and adds the frequency range from 1 GHz to 3 GHz. This way the 2801 supports you in measuring oscillators, filters, emissions and more in the important ISM frequency band around 2.3 GHz.
2861 Tracking Generator
RF components like filters or amplifiers are easily tested with the tracking generator option. The frequency response for all those components can be measured as easily as with a scalar network analyzer.
2862 Enhanced Spectrum Analyzer/Oscilloscope
A real innovation in this instrument class is the simultaneous display of spectrum analyzer and oscilloscope. If DualScope is activated, the screen splits into two sections, providing access to the spectrum and an oscilloscope display simultaneously. The DualScope function, four markers (instead of the standard two) and a 1 dB vertical scale make up the 2862 Enhanced Spectrum Analyzer/Oscilloscope Option.
2863 Cable Fault Locator
A fully featured cable fault locator is also available as an option to the 2801 Multilock. Long antenna cables, e.g. from a transmitter cabinet to an antenna tower, can be tested and any shortcircuits or open ends be identified with their location.
