Excellent RF measurements – bench performance in a handheld instrument

> 9101 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer (100 kHz to 4 GHz)

> 9102 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer (100 kHz to 4 GHz)

> 9103 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer (100 kHz to 7,5 GHz)

> 1205/1207 RF Probes

Based on its tremendous expertise in radio frequency (RF) technology, Willtek provides a series of hand-portable spectrum analyzers for usage in R&D labs, the broadcast and communication industry. The instruments allow RF engineers to analyze the characteristics of RF and microwave devices and circuits.

In general RF and microwave signals consist of a collection of sine waves. In the time domain it is just possible to display such a signal in its complex waveform versus time. The frequency-domain display plots the amplitude for each frequency component. The frequency domain has its merits for determining the composition of a complex wave form.

The spectrum analyzer covers a broad spectrum of applications in broadcast, communications, industrial electronics and automotive, and electronics manufacturing. Typical general purpose measurements include RF frequency, RF level (power), occupied bandwidth (OBW), adjacent channel power (ACP), harmonic and spurious emissions, interference analysis, modulation characteristics (such as AM, FM, pulse, complex), and intermittent signal capture.

One instrument for all your needs:

  • Used in mobile phone repair to detect and locate faulty mobile phone parts and components.
  • Used in R&D labs to assess the electromagnetic radiation and to verify measures against EMI.
  • Used in manufacturing to check and align the output of RF modules or units.
  • Used in the field to measure and verify e.g. base station emissions.
  • Used for installation troubleshooting, repair and maintenance
