9101 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

Applications where the 9101 may be utilised

  • R&D, quality, design
  • Manufacturing
  • Service/POS
  • Network maintenance
  • Spectrum monitoring
  • General purpose

Spectrum analyzers are widely used in many fields (R&D, EMC/EMI, cable TV, satellite TV, Two-way radio, SMR, PMR, police, fireman, ambulance, power supplier, Wireless LAN (2.4 GHz), Wireless Local Loop (WLL), universities, colleges). The 9101 Handheld Spectrum Analyzer is the chosen solution when it comes to frequencies up to 4 GHz or small footprint requirements like R&D or EMI/EMC labs. Also portable applications have high potential where the signal is connected via wire like high end cable TV, satellite TV.

Two-way radio service centres or service centres for radios in general (SMR, PMR, police, fireman, and electricity suppliers) use spectrum analyzers in the same way as mobile service centres.

Applications which require high mobility of the test equipment are well-suited to the Willtek Handheld Spectrum Analyzer, as it supports these jobs by nature of its size and weight and by the fact that it allows easy battery exchange, recharge and operation via car cigar lighter adapter.

General-purpose applications cover a wide range including police, fire and ambulance services, power utilities (electric, gas, water and nuclear) and also universities, colleges and schools. Installers of Wireless LAN (2.4 GHz) and Wireless Local Loop (3.5 GHz) use spectrum analyzers.

The 9101 is unbeaten in price vs. performance for applications which need basic spectrum analyzer functionality in a small compact form factor and a wide RF frequency range. An example is EMI/EMC pre-testing. There you need a handheld battery-powered analyzer to check where RF leaks out of the shielding or where component and board layout cause radiation effects.
