4202R Mobile Service Tester

Based on the Willtek 4200, the Willtek 4202R Mobile Service Tester is dedicated to new features and frequency bands introduced by GSM-R, the railway communication system based on GSM. The Willtek 4202R is the first GSM-R test instrument for service applications, and its small size and low weight make it the ideal choice to test and repair applications requiring mobility.

The Willtek 4202R allows the simulation of group calls (VGCS) at various priority levels. This includes emergency calls based on group calls to verify not only the performance of the cab radios, but also of peripherals such as optical and acoustical alarms. These tests ensure proper performance of the radio system and help prevent disaster in emergency cases.
