Level 1 testing at the point of return
Mobile phone retailers save money for the logistics of sending returned phones to a level 3 or 4 service centre, especially if there is no problem with the phone or if the problem can be solved with a software update. The phone can quickly and easily be tested with the 2201 ProLock, the 7311 Lector Basic software (included) and the 4916 Antenna Coupler.
Customer satisfaction is guaranteed when the problem can be solved quickly or if there is proof with a test protocol that the phone is perfectly in order.
Minor repairs during the warranty period can typically be charged to the manufacturer. Redeem test and repair cost, and your 2201 ProLock will soon pay off!
Level 2 testing in the repair shop
Save money for the reverse logistics of shipping returned mobile phones to the manufacturer’s preferred service centre when it is unclear whether there is in fact a fault, or when your repair shop can service the phone! The automated testing software Lector generates a test protocol, proving to the manufacturer that the phone has been tested (and repaired when a second test is performed after the repair). Test protocols can be saved on the hard disk in separate folders sorted by serial number or by date. They can then be sent to the level 3 or 4 service centre for more detailed failure analysis and repair, and to the manufacturer to redeem the service cost during the warranty period.
