This software version must only be installed on instruments from the 3100 series that are running software version 11.20 or higher!

Please use a LAN (TCP/IP) connection to control the 3100 with the 7201 Update Utility when updating the 3100 to firmware version 14.00! Using a USB connection currently does not properly indicate when the update is actually completed. You may run into the risk to switch off the device to early and interrupt the update.
With the update via LAN you have full visibility of the update process and no problems.
