The CDMA2000 System Option supports asynchronous and synchronous measurements for cdmaOne and CDMA2000, including handover to AMPS.  It supports the following bands: US Cellular, US PCS, TACS , JTACS, Korean PCS, NMT-450, IMT 2000, 1800 MHz, and 900 MHz.  In synchronous mode the option supports the simulation of a CDMA2000 cell site with many optional parameters. Signaling supported: registration, MS & BS origination, channel change/handover (within frequency band and inter-frequency band), MS & BS release. Supported measurements: Power measurements including min/max power, open loop power, gated power, closed loop power and access probe power, modulation quality measurements including waveform quality and code domain measurements, receiver performance testing including receiver sensitivity and dynamic range using the FER feature.

Automatic service tests written under RAPID!, the 4400 series programming language for test automation. Test allows for the configuration of mobile manufacturer, model, carrier, limits and test selection. Default test includes single- and dual-band tests of CDMA 800/1900 mobile phones.
